Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B.O.T.) is an undergraduate program that aims at developing clinical skills.
The well-equipped laboratories at CSOT have contemporary tools and apparatus to promote hands-on learning. Students are exposed to clinical practice in Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Plastic surgery, Neonatal ICU, Cardiopulmonary, Neuro ICU and Mental Health, for outpatients and inpatients at the 1200 bedded, state-of-the-art multispecialty Chettinad Hospital.
Students learn to screen, assess, evaluate and provide interventions and therapies to treat patients with physical, social, psychological, cognitive, and perceptual disorders/disabilities of permanent or temporary in nature. They are trained to be well-versed with the current advances in treatments and therapy in the field.

ELIGIBILITY for BOT:
Prospective candidates are required to have successfully passed the qualifying examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu state or an equivalent examination (HSE/CBSE/ICSE/others). The qualifying subjects include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Botany and Zoology.
ELIGIBILITY for MOT:
Prospective candidates are required to have successfully completed Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with minimum of 50% marks and completed the mandatory internship.
