Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (B.O.T.) is an undergraduate program that aims at developing clinical skills.

Students are exposed to clinical practice in Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Plastic surgery, Neonatal ICU, Cardiopulmonary, Neuro ICU and Mental Health, for outpatients and inpatients at the 1200 bedded, state-of-the-art multispecialty Chettinad Hospital.

Students learn to screen, assess, evaluate and provide interventions and therapies to treat patients with physical, social, psychological, cognitive, and perceptual disorders/disabilities of permanent or temporary in nature. ELIGIBILITY for BOT:

Prospective candidates are required to have successfully passed the qualifying examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu state or an equivalent examination (HSE/CBSE/ICSE/others). The qualifying subjects include Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Botany and Zoology.

ELIGIBILITY for MOT:

Prospective candidates are required to have successfully completed Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with minimum of 50% marks and completed the mandatory internship.
